Instructor’s Bio

Paul Gaiser, AIA (Principal, Paul Gaiser Architects &  Founder of Betterbulb.com) received his master of architecture from Tulane University. He is a licensed architect in MD, DC and VA, specializing in high-end residential remodeling and energy efficient lighting design. He has been a three-time participant in the Green Festival and most recently was a participant in the EESI Renewable Energy Expo on Capitol Hill. He has assisted the Office of the Architect of the Capitol in introducing LED lighting to reduce the capitol complex’s carbon footprint.  Paul founded Betterbulb.com to eliminate the use of incandescent lighting and promote energy efficient LED lighting. In early 2006, Paul began testing LED lighting products from around the world to better understand the current state of LED lighting solutions.
